At SUKI we're all about blowing people's minds, one poke bowl or sushi burrito at a time.
Poke (pronounced Poh-key), is a Hawaiian favourite that has picked up a huge following across the US mainland. After hearing about poke for the first time, we set off on an adventure to experience it for ourselves. We trekked the far-reaches of the Big Island, the mountains of Maui and the sandy beaches Oahu, in search of the best poke bowl Hawaii has to offer. Next we combined the flavours of Hawaii with locally sourced Australian fish and produce and came up with something special, SUKI.
But we couldn’t stop there, in 2016 our team of awesome food scientists shared a moment of pure genius that resulted in the marriage of two universally loved foods - sushi and burritos. Using the freshest and most sustainable produce, we merged the best element of Japanese and Mexican cultures.
While our method of culinary creation is a closely guarded secret, what we can tell you is that SUKI poke bowls and sushi burritos are game changers.
While we love to have a good time and joke around, we're dead serious about reducing our environmental impact. Although we don't claim to be saving the planet, we do believe that it's the small things that matter. Accordingly, we ensure that all of our fish and produce is sourced as sustainably as possible.
